Loose forward Lusanda Badiyana will lead the Kings in their second Pro14 match of the season against Munster in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
Regular skipper JC Astle will miss the match through illness, with coach Robbie Kempson deciding to give the armband to Badiyana, who will captain the team for the first time.
There are a total of seven changes from the team that lost to the Cardiff Blues, four in the backline and three in the forwards.
Loosehead prop Juan Schoeman, who is on loan from the Sharks, will make his first appearance for the Kings. Aston Fortuin, who signed from the Bulls, will replace JC Astle, while Ruan Lerm comes in No 8 after recovering from injury.
Regular fullback Masixole Banda returns to the starting lineup, while there are two new wings in Andell Loubser and Courtney Winnaar. Injured centre Howard Mnisi will miss the game and he is replaced by Tertius Kruger.
