The Southern Kings have confirmed the recruitment of Highlanders prop Ross Geldenhuys for the 2017 season.

The 33-year-old will add a wealth of experience to the Kings set-up, while they also announced that Border stars Masixole Banda (flyhalf) and Makazole Mapimpi (wing) will join the squad, along with former Junior Springbok prop Dayan van der Westhuizen.

Apart from these latest recruitments, the Kings have also confirmed that the following players will be available for next season: Wandile Mjekevu (wing), Neil Maritz (wing), Irné Herbst (lock), Wandile Putuma (lock), Garrick Mattheus (flyhalf), Yaw Penxe (wing), Sintu Manjezi (flank/lock), Tango Balekile (hooker), Lionel Cronjé (flyhalf), Ntabeni Dukisa (outside back), Mzwanele Zito (lock/flank), Alshaun Bock (wing) and Poerie van Rooyen (scrumhalf).
