The Kings have extended their closing date for head coach applications, which they have advertised this week following the confirmed departure of Deon Davids.
On Wednesday, it was confirmed that the Kings had reached a mutual agreement to allow head coach Deon Davids to part ways with the franchise.
Davids took over as head coach in the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby season, with the team finishing 17th in his first season and 11th in his second in 2017 before they were dropped from the competition.
The Kings have since advertised the post on their social media platforms, and although the closing date for submissions was initially 24 June, that has now been extended to 1 July.
