Former Bok prop Robbie Kempson has confirmed he will be serving as a coaching consultant with the Kings until the end of the season, writes CRAIG LEWIS.
While it has been reported that Kempson had committed to the franchise as a permanent forwards coach until the end of the Pro14, he provided SARugbymag.co.za with further clarification of his role on Thursday.
‘I will be assisting in developing a coach, while consulting for the rest of the season,’ he said.
Kempson’s experience as a forwards coach will boost a Kings side that has endured a challenging Pro14 season to date, which has seen them manage just one win from 10 matches in Conference B.
They are in action next when they take on Edinburgh at Murrayfield on 5 January.
