International rugby referee Craig Joubert has been appointed as one of the two umpires for the Nelson Mandela Legacy Cup match at the Wanderers on Friday.
The 37-year-old Joubert made his umpiring debut earlier this year when he officiated in the first match between these teams.
'It was a great experience standing in the middle during the first encounter between the Boks and the Proteas,' said Joubert.
'I have always loved and supported cricket and the Proteas. I watched the recent ODI series in Australia with much interest, supporting our boys and keeping an eye on the umpires to pick up a few tips!
'To be part of this great occasion is a real thrill for me and I’m looking forward to the match on Friday.'
The match at the Wanderers will commemorate the one-year anniversary of the former president's death.
