Springbok centre Jesse Kriel is set for a short-term spell with Japanese club NTT Docomo Red Hurricanes.

Kriel is poised to join Vodacom Bulls teammate Handré Pollard in Osaka, before both return to the Pretoria-based side for the 2016 Super Rugby campaign.

Fellow Boks Eben Etzebeth and flank Heinrich Brüssow are also contracted to the Hurricanes.
