The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed that high-performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg has resigned from his post.
Janse van Rensburg had occupied the role since 2012 and was responsible for the Bulls’ talent identification and management of their professional teams and academy structures.
He is looking forward to taking some time to re-evaluate his career, while spending some quality time with his family, before announcing his next chapter.
The University of Pretoria law graduate had previously worked as the union’s co-ordinator of schools and high-performance activities where he was involved in the scouting and recruiting of junior players.
Janse van Rensburg expressed his gratitude to the Bulls.
‘I would like to sincerely thank the BBCo and the BBRU for the opportunities they have afforded me. Thank you for the help, support and opportunity granted to be a part of such a special brand. It is impossible to express my gratitude in words, and it is with a grateful heart that I bid farewell.’
Bulls CEO Alfonso Meyer wished Janse van Rensburg well.
‘On behalf of everybody at Loftus, I would like to wish him everything of the best with the next phase of his life.’
