Relive some of late Springbok wing James Small’s greatest moments on the field.
James made this textbook tackle on opposite wing Jonah Lomu during the 1996 Super 12 final between Natal and the Auckland Blues.
Small scored this superb try against the run of play during the third Test between the Springboks and Wallabies. The ball was dislodged after Small made a great spot tackle. He then secured possession and linked up with fullback Andre Joubert with a one-two interchange to score.
The documentary below pays homage to Small’s overall career for both country and province.
