Guido Petti is doubtful for the Jaguares’ Vodacom Super Rugby semi-final against the Brumbies in Buenos Aires on Friday.
The Jaguares will compete in a historic first-ever semi-final after ousting the Chiefs 21-16 last week. But the victory came at a cost, with Petti suffering a sprained ankle in the encounter.
The 24-year-old has not recovered from the injury yet and will be given until Thursday before a call on his availability will be made.
Marcos Kremer and Enrique Pieretto, who also sustained injuries against the Chiefs, have been declared fit.
Meanwhile, the South Americans have been boosted by the return of Ramiro Moyano, who is in contention for selection. The wing’s last appearance for the team was during their tour of Australasia early in May.
