Ismaiel back to wing it for Bulls

The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed the return of former Springbok wing Travis Ismaiel after a short stint with Harlequins in England.

Ismaiel previously plied his trade in South Africa for the Bulls, earning 39 Vodacom Super Rugby caps before making the switch to Harlequins in 2019. He also has one Test cap for the Springboks.

Bulls director of rugby Jake White believes the acquisition of a high-quality player of Ismaiel’s calibre bodes well for the Bulls and says he is looking forward to working with him when rugby returns.

‘Travis is a quality player that I believe has unfinished business in Super Rugby and beyond, so it is great to see him returning to Loftus Versfeld,’ White said.

‘He has a knack for finding the tryline and has scored some scintillating tries for us in the past, so I’m looking forward to working alongside him.’

HE’S BACK! The #BullsFamily welcomes the return of one of its sons: try-scoring machine Travis Ismaiel! We look forward to seeing you ripping it up at Loftus!
