Blue Bulls duo Jason Jenkins and Jade Stighling have both been ruled out for up to six weeks through injury.
Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed Jenkins sustained a knee injury during the defeat to the Free State Cheetahs last weekend and will be sidelined for up to six weeks.
Stighling, who suffered an ankle injury in the Bulls' first-round win over Western Province a fortnight ago, will undergo an operation and is also estimated to be out of action for six weeks.
Winger Travis Ismaiel is another player who is unavailable for selection for Friday's match against the EP Kings as he is still nursing a groin strain. Centre Dries Swanepoel is recovering from a quad injury and a final decision on his availability will be made later in the week.
