Scotland’s Huw Jones holds the record for the best individual performance in Vodacom Super Rugby of the last decade, according to statistics, for his Stormers masterclass against the Southern Kings in 2017.
JACK COLUMN: Schools must see cancellations as an opportunity
Jones banked a franchise record with four tries in helping the Stormers thrash the Kings 52-24 at Newlands. The versatile backline star honed his skills at UCT before joining Western Province and the Stormers, where he played three seasons, before returning to Scotland and the Glasgow Warriors.
No player, though, has enjoyed a single better outing than Jones in Super Rugby as he piled on the agony with six clean breaks on a day he will struggle to forget.
