Wallabies captain Michael Hooper has signed a new five-year contract with Rugby Australia.

The deal will take the flanker through to the next two World Cups and the end of 2023.

According to News Limited outlets, the deal is worth close to A$6-million (R60-million).

It is understood the deal will be officially unveiled on Friday.
