Centre Robbie Henshaw and flanker Sean O’Brien have been included in Ireland’s 38-man squad for the Six Nations.
Henshaw sustained a hamstring injury before the match against Argentina last November and did not play for Leinster during the festive season. While he was initially expected to miss Ireland’s opening Six Nations match against England in Dublin on 2 February, coach Joe Schmidt described him as ‘fresh and fully fit’.
O’Brien is another to return after breaking his arm during the match with Los Pumas in November.
There are three uncapped players in the squad, Caolin Blade, Jack Carty and Tom Farrell (all from Connacht).
