Hendrikse returns for Sharks U18

Glenwood scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse Hendrikse returns for Sharks U18
Published on June 4, 2018 | Leave a response

Jaden Hendrikse is among 12 Glenwood players in this year’s Sharks squad for the U18 Craven Week in July.

With the schools season reaching its mid-season break, the focus has now shifted toward Craven Week, which will be hosted by Paarl Boys’ High from 8-14 July.

It is unsurprising that Durban-based Glenwood has contributed 12 players of the total 23-man squad, having gone on an unbeaten run and claimed the scalps of Monument and Affies.

The Sharks will boast an experienced squad with eight members of last year’s 23 – including the likes of wing Siyanda Cele, fullback Rynhardt Jonker, flyhalf Dylan Pretorius, No 8 Celimpilo Gumede and scrumhalf Hendrikse – returning.

Sharks – Jean Roux (Glenwood), Joe Jonas (Glenwood), Jacques Odendaal (Kearsney), Rynhardt Jonker (Glenwood), Dane Fisher (Michaelhouse), Lwandile Menze (DHS), Siyanda Cele (Glenwood), Dylan Pretorius (Glenwood), Jaden Hendrikse (Glenwood), George Luzolo (Glenwood), Celimpilo Gumede (DHS), Sibusiso Sangweni (Kearsney), Runako Brynard (Glenwood), Asande Mnguni (DHS), Andrew James (Hilton), Lunga Ncube (Glenwood), Deon Slabbert (Westville), Thabiso Mdletshe (Glenwood), Mthokozisi Gumede (DHS), Teague Loelly (Westville), Ruan Olivier (Glenwood), Sphekahle Dube (Maritzburg), Jordan Clarke (Glenwood).
