Trevor Nyakane is set to be ruled out of the Blue Bulls’ match against the Pumas at Loftus on Friday.
The Bok prop took a blow to the head during his side’s 45-40 Currie Cup win over Griquas in Kimberley and is still showing symptoms of a concussion.
Meanwhile, Jamba Ulengo will consult a specialist regarding a problematic knee injury and is expected to be sidelined for three weeks.
In some good news, the Bulls welcome back No 8 and captain Hanro Liebenberg from illness as well as centre Johnny Kotze and lock Ruben van Heerden (both concussion).
