The Hawks are allegedly looking into allegations that several coaches at the Blue Bulls paid higher management to be appointed into their respective positions.
As reported by Brenden Nel and Hendrik Cronje in Sunday newspaper Rapport, an investigation into former Vodacom Bulls high-performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg has seen a number of leading coaches admit they paid money to him.
The issue is now forming part of the forensic investigation by the Blue Bulls as well as the Hawks’ criminal investigation.
The Blue Bulls Company has already launched a forensic investigation into the alleged fraudulent activities of Janse van Rensburg during his time at the union.
Janse van Rensburg occupied this position from 2012 until February 2019, when he resigned due to ‘health reasons’.
