Bryan Habana is considering retiring from the game when his contract with Toulon expires in June.
The Springbok wing, who had knee surgery last year, has struggled to force himself into the French side’s starting lineup.
Habana told Rugby365 he is unsure about his playing future.
‘My contract with Toulon ends in June and I’m not quite sure if [Mourad] Boudjellal is going to stick around with me much longer. Also, I’m pushing the limits of the 30-club now, but I haven’t quite made a decision yet,’ Habana said.
‘If I don’t play too much for the rest of the season then I might have another season in me, but to move your family to another part of the world for about 10 months might not do it. So I am looking at various options outside of rugby, but I haven’t decided 100% yet.’
The 35-year-old said last year that he was unsure whether he would play for the Boks again. His last Test appearance was in the 20-18 loss to Italy in November 2016.
