Johan Greeff will continue in his role as television match official for the Vodacom Super Rugby match between the Cheetahs and Bulls in Bloemfontein.
Greeff came under fire for his handling of the Bulls' clash with the Sharks over the weekend, in particular when he deemed Jesse Kriel's pass to Francois Hougaard in the buildup to the Bulls' first try not to have gone forward.
Ex-Springbok Kobus Wiese called the decision 'inexcusable', but there will be no repercussions for his performance and he'll be back in the booth on Saturday.
Jaco van Heerden – who made his Super Rugby debut as referee in the match at Loftus – will run the touchline at the Free State Stadium, with Stuart Berry taking charge of the clash.
Meanwhile, one of South Africa's most experienced referees, Jaco Peyper, has been appointed for the coastal derby between the Stormers and the Sharks at Newlands.
