Johan Goosen's try and penalty weren't enough as Oyonnax upset Racing Métro 21-17 in their French Top 14 match at the Stade Yves du Manoir.

Goosen, who started at fullback, scored the first try after a charge down from Luc Ducalcon, who then fed Juan Imhoff. The Pumas wing couldn't score himself, but found Goosen in support.

Toulon were rampant as they put nine tries past visiting Grenoble at the Stade Mayol, winning 61-28. Bakkies Botha and Bryan Habana both crossed the line.

In other matches, Brive piled more misery on Castres as they came from behind to earn a vital 21-15 win over their relegation rivals, La Rochelle beat Montpellier 21-15 despite picking up three yellow cards, Stade Français showed they will be real contenders for the top six as they beat Bordeaux-Bègles 39-22 at Jean Bouin, while Bayonne picked up an important win in their relegation battle, seeing off leaders Clermont 24-13.

Toulon host Grenoble in the last match of the round on Sunday.
