Lions trio Jacobie Adriaanse, Wilhelm van der Sluys and Jan-Louis la Grange could miss their upcoming clash with the Vodacom Blue Bulls due to injury.

Adriaanse (prop) and La Grange (centre) picked up a calf strain and concussion, respectively, and have been ruled out of this weekend’s match at Ellis Park.

Van der Sluys also took a blow to the head that left him concussed and is likely to sit out the next game but it is unconfirmed as yet.

Meanwhile, Courtnall Skosan, Cyle Brink, Dylan Smith and Wayne van der Bank are expected to recover from their respective injuries within three to four weeks. Should they recover within the estimated time frame, the quartet will be available for selection in the playoffs.
