Vodacom Bulls centre Stedman Gans is set to be out of action for up to three months after suffering an ankle injury against the Stormers on Friday night.
The injury occurred when Gans was trapped in a tackle late in the game, and had to be helped from the field. A scan has now revealed he will need to undergo surgery on Wednesday.
Gans’ absence is now set to provide an opportunity for Marco Janse van Vuren in the midfield.
