Player agent Damien Dussault has clarified that while French clubs are struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic, he believes they can still attract the best players in the world.
Responding to reports that big-spending Top 14 clubs could be set to lose some of their pulling power due to financial restructuring, Dussault stated on social media that the situation was ‘only temporary’.

‘To be clear: French clubs are struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic but they can still attract the best players in the world especially when they will have more than a 21 days window next season. The situation is only temporary.’
Coincidentally, it was also confirmed on Tuesday that talented young Glenwood High fullback Joe Jonas was set to join the junior ranks of French club Biarritz straight out of school.
