France flyhalf Matthieu Jalibert has been ruled out of their Six Nations title-deciding match against Scotland in Paris on Friday.
France will host Scotland in this rescheduled round-three match, after the postponement of the fixture due to a Covid-19 outbreak in the France squad last month.
The match will serve as a championship-deciding clash with France and Wales still vying for the title.
Jalibert was taken off with a head injury during France’s epic 32-30 win over Wales on Super Saturday and will not be available to play at the Stade de France this weekend.
His place in the squad has gone to Louis Carbonel, who featured in France’s 50-10 victory away over Italy in the opening round of the campaign.
As he did in the Test against Wales, Romain Ntamack is likely to replace Jalibert as the starting flyhalf this week again.
Les Bleus would become Six Nations champions for the first time in 11 years if they beat Scotland, score four tries and win by at least 21 points. They can also lift the trophy if they beat Scotland by 20 points and score six tries.
