France coach Jacques Brunel has announced his 32-man squad for their three-Test series against the All Blacks in June.
Regular captain Guilhem Guirado and flank Wenceslas Lauret, who play for Toulon and Racing 92 respectively, have been rested for this tour. But in a welcome return, centre Wesley Fofana is back in the squad after an injury-plagued 18-month stint on the sidelines.
Star wing Teddy Thomas, along with Anthony Belleau, Rémi Lamerat, Alexandre Lapandry and Felix Lambey – who were all dropped from France’s Six Nations squad in February due to inappropriate behaviour – have been recalled for the tour of New Zealand.
Louis Picamoles, Arthur Iturria and Jonathan Danty, who were also released with the above-mentioned players in February, were overlooked again.
