Tributes have poured in for former Italy captain Massimo Cuttitta, who passed away from Covid-19 complications.
Cuttitta, who spent time playing in Durban after the 1995 World Cup, was also schooled at Pinetown Boys High School.
‘It was with the deepest dismay that the Italian Rugby Federation and the entire national rugby movement learned of the untimely death of Massimo Cuttitta,’ the FIR said in a statement.
Cuttitta played for Italy 70 times between 1990 and 2000, captaining the side on 22 occasions.
