Percy Montgomery was the lone South African inclusion on a list of the top 10 foreign signings made by Welsh clubs.

Leading rugby site Wales Online recently named its ’10 best Welsh rugby signings ever made’ and while Kiwis occupy the top three spots, the Springbok fullback – who also played centre during his time abroad – was included in 10th place.

‘Bounced back from a six-month ban for pushing over a touch judge to have an outstanding second season with the Dragons which earned him a recall to the South African squad culminating in a 2007 World Cup triumph.’
