Wallabies fullback Israel Folau has been ruled out of their Rugby Championship clash against the Springboks with an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old, who injured his ankle in the first Bledisloe Cup Test against the All Blacks, was originally named to start in Brisbane.
Folau’s late withdrawal is the latest blow to the Wallabies after flank David Pocock was ruled out with a neck injury.
Dane Haylett-Petty will move to fullback, with Jack Maddocks coming into the starting lineup and Tom Banks providing cover on the bench.
