Fiji were crowned 2018-19 World Sevens Series champions after beating the USA in the semi-finals of the Paris Sevens on Sunday.
The 33-14 win meant that the Fijians, who came into the tournament on top of the overall standings, could not be caught as the USA needed to finish two places ahead of their opponents in Paris.

Fiji reclaim the series title from the Blitzboks after losing it in dramatic fashion to the South African last season.
It is Fiji’s first series win since 2015-16 and fourth overall. The USA, meanwhile, missed out on the opportunity to claim their first ever series title.
