Owen Farrell was the more clinical and accurate of the two starting flyhalves in Brisbane, according to SARugbymag.co.za’s Opta-powered stats.

England beat Australia 39-28 on Saturday. While the England forwards should take a collective bow for their efforts, Farrell deserves praise for his goal-kicking and game management.

Farrell scored 24 of England's 39 points. Nine of his 10 attempts at goal were successful.

Wallabies flyhalf Bernard Foley had a more productive game with ball in hand. Foley made 29 passes and three offloads, and the Wallabies as a collective enjoyed 64% of the possession.

That said, the Wallabies will regret their misses in front of goal. Foley pushed three of his attempts wide. Had he been more accurate, the hosts may have denied England a win.
