A video depicting England flyhalf Owen Farrell as the King of the Jungle has added spice to the buildup to next year’s British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa.

The YouTube account responsible for the footage and the provocative title captioned the clip: ‘Public service announcement to all South African rugby fans – Owen Farrell is coming back next year to wipe you three-nil.’

Farrell is on the fast track to becoming public enemy No 1 in South Africa after his dangerous tackle on Springbok centre Andre Esterhuizen during England’s last tour to South Africa.

Ed’s note: There was no clip of Cheslin Kolbe’s sidestep of the flyhalf from the 2019 Rugby World Cup final.
