Sharks head coach Sean Everitt has agreed to a contract extension that will have him remain at the Durban-based union until at least 2024.
Everitt was appointed as head coach of the Sharks’ Currie Cup squad in 2019 and the Super Rugby squad in 2020. He had previously worked as an assistant coach and before that as youth coach at the union.
On Tuesday, Everitt’s agency – International Player Management – confirmed he will remain in the driving seat at the Sharks for the next three years.
‘We are delighted to announce that Sharks head coach Sean Everitt has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will run until 2024,’ IPM said in a statement.
