French club Toulon have confirmed that Springbok World Cup-winning lock Eben Etzebeth has extended his contract through to 2024.
Etzebeth joined Toulon on a two-year deal after last year’s World Cup, but has very quickly been tied down for a longer stay.
Such a long-term deal speaks volumes for how much the 28-year-old has enjoyed his time in Toulon, and how highly regarded he is by the French side.
