Scrumhalf Ben Youngs has warned the Wallabies that England have yet to reveal the full potency of their attack at the World Cup.

In a game with many subplots, England and Australia will meet in the first quarter-final on Saturday.

The Wallabies’ 33-13 win in the same pool-stage fixture of the 2015 World Cup, ensured that England became the first team to be knocked out of their home tournament at that early stage. But England has since chalked up a six-game winning streak against their bitter rivals.

And, according to Youngs, it is a run England intend to extend when the teams collide in Oita on Saturday.

‘We’ve had a good run in these games and we’ll make sure we are right and ready to go again,’ Youngs said.

The 30-year-old Youngs also dismissed concerns that England are underprepared for the quarter-final and instead warned that they have a few  tricks up their sleeve.

‘I certainly don’t feel like we are undercooked. I feel we are in exactly the right spot,’ he expressed.

‘Against USA and Tonga, we kept it fairly low-key in terms of what we wanted to show. Against Argentina, we showed a bit more from the playbook but again we didn’t need to show our hand.

‘To be honest with you we haven’t shown a huge amount in any of our games. We have things we haven’t had to use yet,’ Youngs revealed.
