England tweak backline

Coach Eddie Jones has made three changes to England's starting XV ahead of Saturday's Test against Scotland at Twickenham.

The annual Six Nations Test between England and Scotland doubles up as the Calcutta Cup match between the sides, but this year another incentive will be added to the fixture. England will look to equal New Zealand's 18-Test winning streak, while Scotland will want to end England's aspirations of a second successive Grand Slam.

Jones has opted for continuity in his pack, but has tweaked the backline.

Jonathan Joseph is reinstated at outside centre at the expense of Ben Te'o. Jack Nowell starts ahead of Jonny May on the right wing and Ben Youngs replaces Danny Care at scrumhalf.

No 8 Billy Vunipola will make his long-awaited return from injury via the bench.

Meanwhile, Scotland have made a solitary injury-enforced change to their lineup. Flank Hamish Watson starts in the loose trio after John Hardie was ruled out with a knee injury.

South African-born Cornell du Preez takes Watson's spot on the bench and will make his Test debut if he comes on to the field.
