Mike Brown and Ben Te’o have been stood down after they were involved in a brawl during England’s pre-World Cup camp.
Brown and Te’o were dropped from England’s squad for Sunday’s World Cup warm-up Test against Wales. According to The Times, the pair’s omission from the final week of training in Italy was as a result of an altercation between the two players.
The incident between the players erupted during one of the social events organised by England management to help the squad bond during their 12-day camp in Treviso.
The Times reports that the breach of discipline was a factor in Eddie Jones’s decision to exclude both players from the final week of training before England’s 31-man World Cup squad is named on Monday.
