England scored seven tries in their 48-14 win over Samoa at Twickenham on Saturday.
The result ensures England end the calendar year with the highest success rate in Test rugby, having won nine of their 10 matches. It is a feat that further underlines Eddie Jones’ credentials as one of the best coaches in the world, if not the best.
Tries by Mike Brown, Alex Lozowski, Charlie Ewels and a penalty by George Ford saw the hosts take a 22-7 lead into the break. Samoa’s try came via Piula Faasalele.
England raced away with the match like a freight train in the second half, as they ran Samoa ragged from all over the park.
There were four further scores, including a brace by star man Elliot Daly, who continued his impressive form.
There was also a late try from replacement Semesa Rokoduguni, who finished off brilliantly to give the Twickenham faithful once last chance to rise in applause.
