Elton Jantjies will captain a Lions side that includes four debutants in the match 23 for the clash against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires.
The Lions have still yet to officially confirm their Vodacom Super Rugby squad and skipper for the season, but Jantjies will assume the leadership reins.
For the Johannesburg side’s opener, he will be partnered at halfback by Andre Warner, while Tiaan Swanepoel will make his debut at fullback, wit Tyrone Green on the wing
Lock Ruben Schoeman is another debutant named to feature this weekend, while Morne van der Berg and centre Mannie Rass could make their first Super Rugby appearances off the bench.
The match kicks off at 1am on Sunday (SA time).
