The Bulls are reportedly set to unveil Springbok Duane Vermeulen as their marquee signing ahead of the 2019 Super Rugby season.
In August, a report indicated that the Bulls, in partnership with SA Rugby, had beaten Western Province and English club Bath to Vermeulen’s signature.
While the deal has not been confirmed yet, Netwerk24 reported on Saturday that the Bulls could make an official announcement within the next few days.
The 32-year-old is expected to be on a dual contract with the Bulls and SA Rugby.
Vermeulen is currently playing for the Kubota Spears in Japan.
