Stormers flank Johan du Toit has been cited for taking Louis Schreuder out in the air during the loss to the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.
The incident occurred from the first kick-off of the match after just 10 seconds as Du Toit took Schrueder out as the Sharks scrumhalf leaped into the air to claim the ball.
Referee AJ Jacobs decided to show Du Toit a yellow card, despite the advice from TMO Willie Vos that the tackle warranted a red card.

Upon further review of the match footage, the Citing Commissioner deemed in his opinion the incident had met the Red Card threshold for foul play.
Du Toit will be cited under Law 9.17: A player must not tackle, charge, pull, push or grasp an opponent whose feet are off the ground.
MALLETT: I agree with the referee, it was a yellow card
The case is to be considered in the first instance by the Sanzaar Foul Play Review Committee on Monday 16 March at 9am via video-conference.
