In a Cape derby, Hamiltons travelled to Malmesbury to face Wesbank, who conceded seven tries in going down 41-12.
Further up country, College Rovers ran in 12 tries to defeat the Bloemfontein Crusaders 78-14 at the Clive Solomon Stadium in Heidedal. Winger Dusty Noble scored two of the winners’ tries.
