The Lions have announced the contracting of Pumas duo Faf de Klerk and Corné Fourie for the 2016 season.
Both De Klerk and Fourie, who have played Vodacom Super Rugby for the Lions through loan agreements over the past two seasons, will return to Johannesburg under permanent contracts in November.
The pair have signed one-year contracts with the Lions and will thus be involved in both the 2016 Super Rugby and Currie Cup campaigns.
Head coach Johan Ackermann said he was very pleased to welcome both players back into the Lions rugby structures.
'They have really become a part of the Lions family and have played important roles in our Super Rugby journey in recent years. They have already made a big contribution to the Lions and will hopefully enjoy it further here and continue to make a difference.
'Additionally, I am proud of Faf for his call-up to the Springbok training squad. It's wonderful to see how he used his opportunity at the Lions to propel himself to the next level. I look forward to welcoming both him and Corné back into our structures next season.'
