Hacjivah Dayimani’s dreams of making his Blitzboks debut in the Cape Town Sevens have been dashed by an ankle injury.
Dayimani was set to be included in the Blitzboks squad for the home leg of the World Sevens Series after being named as a replacement for last weekend’s 13th man Christie Grobbelaar.

Unfortunately for the Lions loose forward, he has picked up an ankle injury which has forced him out of this weekend’s action.
His place in the squad will be taken by Impi Visser, who returns to the Blitzboks after playing for the Sevens Academy last weekend.
Good news for Dayimani is that Neil Powell has confirmed that he is negotiating with the Lions on his release for the Hamilton and Sydney Sevens.
