The Crusaders have made four changes to their starting XV to face the Cheetahs in Christchurch on Saturday.
Among the backs, Israel Dagg returns from injury to take his place at fullback ahead of Tom Taylor, while Kieron Fonotia moves onto the right wing after Johnny McNicholl suffered a posterior cruciate knee ligament injury against the Lions last week.
In the forwards, Codie Taylor starts at hooker, in rotation with Ben Funnell, who shifts to the bench, while Matt Todd will play at openside flank with Richie McCaw being rested.
