Former captain Agustin Creevy will be among the replacements when Argentina face England on Saturday in what is a must-win match for Los Pumas.Should Creevy come on to the field, he will become the most-capped player in Argentina’s history. He is currently tied on 87 with Felipe Contepomi.
Coach Mario Ledesma has made only one change to his starting side which beat Tonga 28-12 last weekend, with eighthman Javier Ortega Desio replacing Tomas Lezana in the back row.
Hat-trick hero last time out Julian Montoya starts ahead of Creevy, with Benjamin Urdapilleta and Santiago Carreras retaining their places in the starting XV.
Regular flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez, who has not missed a Rugby World Cup or Rugby Championship game since October 2016, doesn’t feature in the match-day 23.
Lucas Mensa, who plays his club rugby in Argentina and has only one Test cap, will provide flyhalf cover from the bench.
