Quade Cooper has been cleared of a concussion and will start for the Rebels against the Vodacom Bulls in Melbourne on Friday.
The flyhalf was concussed in his team’s victory over the Reds last weekend, but has recovered sufficiently to retain his place in the team.
There are two changes to the starting lineup, both in the pack, as loose forwards Richard Hardwick and Rob Leota have been promoted from the bench.
Hardwick has been elevated to the No 7 jersey, while Leota will step up to eighthman.
Star recruit Matt To’omua could potentially make his long-awaited Rebels debut, starting as a replacement after being released a week early by English club Leicester.
It could be To’omua’s first Vodacom Super Rugby game since he played 88 games for the Brumbies between 2008 and 2016.
