Marcell Coetzee will make his comeback from an ankle injury in Ulster’s PRO14 clash against the Kings in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The 28-year-old had his World Cup hopes dashed by an ankle injury he suffered while in action for the Springboks in a warm-up match against Argentina in Pretoria.
However, he will start his first game of the season after successfully recovering in one of five changes to the Ulster lineup that was hammered by the Cheetahs last weekend.
Coetzee is at No 8, while former Lions and Sharks back Louis Ludik will also make his first start of the season on the left wing.
The team is captained by South African-born Ireland hooker Rob Herring.
