An official announcement on the expected axeing of Allister Coetzee will only be made in the new year.
No formal announcement on Coetzee’s future will be made until SA Rugby has followed all the necessary legal labour processes.
However, Coetzee is expected to be removed from his post once due procedure has been followed, with SA Rugby having conducted a season review with the Bok coach on Wednesday.
Under Coetzee, the Boks have managed a mere 11 wins from 25 Tests, while slipping back to sixth place in the world rankings.
New director of rugby Rassie Erasmus is set to head up the interim coaching group along with right-hand man Jacques Nienaber, while Kings coach Deon Davids and scrum guru Pieter de Villiers are expected to have a role to play in the new management team from next year.
