Coenie Oosthuizen was named the Sharks’ Player of the Year at an awards function on Wednesday.
Oosthuizen walked away with the biggest award of the night after a stellar season that saw him earn a recall to the Springbok setup after a two-year absence.
Centre Lukhanyo Am was named Super Rugby Player of the Season and was also voted the Fans’ Player of the Year.
Jean-Luc du Preez scooped the Players’ Player of the Year award, while captain Ruan Botha – who recently earned a call-up to the Boks – was named the Currie Cup Player of the Season.
Meanwhile, star winger S’bu Nkosi claimed the Breakthrough Performer of the Year.
