Chris Cloete will start for the Kings against the Bulls in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
The flanker was declared fit to play on Thursday morning, after dislocating his finger against the Sunwolves, and replaces CJ Velleman in the starting lineup.
In other changes, Tom Botha comes in for the injured Jacobie Adriaanse at tighthead prop, scrumhalf James Hall returns having recovered from a neck injury, Stefan Watermeyer shifts from 13 to 12 because of the injury to Shane Gates with Lukhanyo Am coming in at outside centre, while the injured Siyanda Grey is replaced by Luzuko Vulindlu on the right wing.
